Clare and Rob, Saturday 13th September 2014, Colshaw Hall
You know you're off to a good start when the theme of the wedding is Gin and Tonic!
Clare and Rob's wedding was a real Mr and Mrs W team act. The reception was just down the road from our base in Knutsford, at Colshaw Hall in Cheshire, http://www.colshawhall.com . Clare and Rob had seen Mark's natural wedding photography at a few weddings before and liked his style, but with both of them being working professionals they also decided to go with Kristin's help on the production and running side of the day as their wedding planner. You know you're off to a good start when the theme of the wedding is Gin and Tonic! After months of planning and scouring the country for rare and specialist Gins, the day was soon upon us and all those meetings and days of preparation were finally coming to fruition. The service was at St Oswalds church near the Bells of Peover pub in Lower Peover and after most of the guests made the traditional pit stop on the way to the church, the service was soon underway. St Oswalds church and Colshaw Hall both seemed to be almost weekly venues for me during 2014, and it's always nice to work local. So the new Mr and Mrs Bentham were soon leaving the church to the chorus of bell ringers and after a quick ride in a lovely series III Land Rover, it was back to Colshaw Hall and on with the party. Kristin was waiting with Gin and Tonic cocktails and the guests got stuck into the excellent canapés provided by Barretts caterers, http://www.barrettseventcaterers.com . The party was full of fun and quickly moved on with Mark able to capture the candid moments using his natural reportage wedding photography. Day soon turned to evening and the grounds slowly transformed under both the lighting of http://www.lightech.co.uk and the giant letters supplied by http://www.thewordislove.co.uk With firebowls supplied by http://www.kadai.co.uk for the guests to sit around and roast marshmallows over, the scene was set for a cracking evening. The crowd partied well into the night and it was another stunning wedding with a very happy bride and groom.
A great start for the new Mr and Mrs B!
