2014 seemed like a year for local weddings for me, and both Rostherne and Adlington Hall are local venues that I love shooting at. I find that the end of September also tends to bring out some of the best weather and Liz and Jonathan had a lovely dry early Autumn day. After the morning shooting the girls getting ready in Ollerton it was onto the lovely church in Rostherne. The vicar was nice and relaxed, which always helps with my job, and the service was fun and very enjoyable.
Then it was back to Adlington Hall, http://www.adlingtonhall.com
, a venue I have worked at on many occasions and know well. Adlington is one of Cheshire's gems and amazingly is still privately owned. We grabbed some shots of the bride and groom around the gardens then I spent the rest of the day shooting my natural reportage style of wedding photography and enjoyed capturing plenty of fun and candid moments. I find the best shots are always the unexpected moments.
